About

Thankabout is a simple daily gratitude practice.

It was created to make space for noticing what often goes unseen.

Small moments. Quiet support. Ordinary things that matter more than we realise when we slow down long enough to notice them.

The app is intentionally lightweight. In under a minute a day, you can check in with how you feel and write down a few things you're grateful for. Nothing is shared publicly by default. There are no likes, feeds, or performance metrics. Just a private place to reflect.

Why gratitude

Gratitude is not about pretending everything is fine.

It is about attention. About learning to notice what is present, even when life is complex or difficult. Research suggests that regular gratitude practices can support perspective, emotional resilience, and well-being over time.

We believe this practice works best when it is simple, honest, and consistent.

Our approach

Thankabout is guided by a few core principles:

Low friction

A daily practice should fit into real life. Not require preparation, motivation, or perfect conditions.

Privacy first

Your reflections belong to you. Sharing is always optional.

Calm over clever

No performative wellness. No forced positivity. Just space.

Practice over advice

We don't tell you how to feel. We offer a place to notice.

Three Things

Alongside the app, we publish Three Things, a collection of thank-you notes and reflection stories shared from around the world.

These stories are submitted voluntarily and curated with care. They are not meant to instruct or persuade, only to reflect how gratitude shows up in real lives.

Who we are

Thankabout is developed and operated by Simple Holdings ApS, based in Denmark.

The product is created and overseen by Francois Botha, with a focus on building thoughtful digital tools that support attention, reflection, and long-term well-being.
